How the Travelpass Works
The Travelpass timetable booklet is available from your
agent to help you plan your itinerary. It includes all the Coach, Train, Ferry and flight
services available to the Travelpass purchaser.
To assist you with reservations when travelling around New
Zealand, a Toll Free/Freephone number give you instant contact to our friendly staff for
advice and assistance. The on-line computer reservations system gives you instant
confirmation of your next journey. A ticket is not required - simply show your Travelpass
to the coach driver or train staff who will advise your seat number.
For travellers on The Interislander ferry services, it is
necessary to obtain a ferry ticket at the Wellington or Picton ferry terminal or at the
Tranz Rail Travel Centres in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

value than the 3 in 1 Travelpass.
Travelpass offers unlimited travel on the coach services of
InterCity Coachlines and Newmans Coach Lines, two journeys on any of the eight long
distances rail services operated by Tranz Scenic, and one journey over Cook Strait on The
Interislander, or for a small additional surcharge, the seasonal Lynx fast ferry service,
all for one inclusive price. There are no hidden extras.
The 3 in 1 Travelpass allows you to choose your itinerary
giving you access to all of New Zealand's scenic highlights and destinations. With the
Sightpass sightseeing and activity discount book, free to Travelpass passengers, major
savings can be made on other excursions.

Special fares are available for infants and children up to 11 years of age inclusive.
Infants (0-1 years): free of charge (carried on
adult's lap - one infant per adult)
Children (2-11 years): 67% of the adult fare
Adult (12 years and over): adult fare.

4 IN ONE 
(short flight)
As well as offering all the services incorporated in the 3 in 1
Travelpass, the 4 in 1 Travelpass also incorporates an Air New Zealand flight as part of
the pass. The 4 in 1 Travelpass allows one flight with Air New Zealand, and additional
flight sectors may be purchased up to a maximum of three. This award winning airline links
all the major cities, towns and visitor destination of New Zealand (Special conditions
apply).
The InterCity and Tranz Rail Travel Centres in Auckland, Wellington,
Christchurch and Queenstown are the only centres able to issue you Air New Zealand flight
tickets.
