Day 1: Arrive at Auckland
Our representative will meet you and take you to your car. The balance of the day is free.
Overnight in Auckland.
Day 2: Auckland - Rotorua 4 - 8 hours
You can drive directly to Rotorua or via the famous Waitomo Caves, or alternatively follow
Highway 2 down through Tauranga and the kiwifruit country. The famous Maori Hangi
and Concert is included. Two nights in Rotorua.
Day 3: At Rotorua
Today is free - make sure you see Whakarewarewa, the Agrodome, Rainbow Springs, ride the
luge at Skyline, swim in a thermal pool.
Day 4: Rotorua - Wellington 6 hours
Drive to Waiotapu (optional), and through Wairakei to Lake Taupo. Past the National Park
volcanoes and down to the coast. Overnight in Wellington.
Day 5: Wellington - Picton - Christchurch 10 hours
By ferry to Picton, then drive via the Kaikoura Coast to Christchurch. Overnight in
Christchurch.
Day 6: Christchurch - Dunedin 6 hours
Across the Canterbury Plains to Timaru, Oamaru, and see the Moeraki boulders. Stay at the
Castle Lodge (30 minutes out of the city-near the penguin and albatross colony).
Day 7: Dunedin - Te Anau - Farm Lodge 4 hours
Cropping and sheep farming country take you to Gore and Lake Te Anau in remote Fiordland.

Day 8: Te Anau - Milford Sound - Overnight cruise 4 hours
Spend time with your hosts and tour the farm before driving via the spectacular Eglinton
Valley, the Homer Tunnel and down the Cleddau Canyon to Milford Sound. Board the 'Mariner'
for your overnight cruise on this magnificent fiord - DBB.
Day 9: Milford Sound - Queenstown 5 hours
Enjoy the solitude of the Sound and the many optional activities available before driving
via Te Anau, Kingston and Lake Wakatipu to Queenstown for 3 nights stay.
Day 10 and Day 11: At Queenstown
Two free days for the dozens of optional activities and sightseeing.
Day 12 : Queenstown - Glaciers 6 hours
Through the Kawerau Gorge, past Lakes Wanaka and Hawea, to the West Coast World Heritage
National Park, time to see the Glaciers. Overnight at Franz Josef Glacier.
Day 13: Glaciers - Greymouth - Christchurch 10 hours
With lots of stops it is four hours to Greymouth. From here you can drive over Arthurs and
Porters Passes to Christchurch.
Overnight in Christchurch.
Day 14: Departure from Christchurch
Today is free until you go to the airport for your flight out.
