Travel north to the Matakohe Kauri Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of Kauri gum. Continue to the Bay of Islands. On arrival take a guided tour of the Waitangi Reserve and its gardens.

Day 2. Bay of Islands, Freedom of Choice Touring.
Today you have the opportunity to choose from a range of activities and we will include it! Perhaps a day trip to Cape Reinga. Adventure Options also available. This morning our cruise takes us to Cape Brett and the famous ‘Hole in the Rock’. Return this afternoon to Auckland.

Day 4. Auckland, Rotorua.
Leaving the ‘City of Sails’, we travel south to Waitomo Caves. Experience a guided tour of the limestone caverns and glow worm grotto. Journey to the geo-thermal region of Rotorua. Tonight enjoy the culture of the Maori people with a Hangi (feast) and cultural performance.

Day 5. Rotorua, Freedom of Choice Touring.
Today we give you the opportunity to choose from many activities and we will include it. You may choose to soak in a natural thermal mineral pool or stay in a New Zealand country home for the night.
