R1 Highlights
Tour operates daily. Departing 7am from Auckland.
Departs Auckland city for the journey through Auckland’s southern housing areas;
Bombay Hills; the Waikato River Valley; Ngaurawahia - Maori Queen residence;
Hamilton; Cambridge and the Mamaku Volcanic Plateau.
Morning Tea Break (At your expense) Riverhaven Huntly.
Sightseeing in Rotorua will depend on the option you have chosen when booking the
tour.
* Option K:
Visit Rainbow springs, where ferns and native forest showcase trout in a
pristine environment. Attend the Kiwi Encounter and see New Zealand's
unique Kiwi bird, up close.
Re-join
our coach for a guided tour of the beautilful Lake Rotorua foreshore, the
historic Government Gardens and Tudor Towers. Rotorua's
original Victorian spa, restored to its original glory. Visit Whakarewarewa
Thermal Reserve and join a guided tour through an authentic thermal village with
geysers. mud pools and fumaroles, attend a Maori concert of ancient
songs, dancing and culture.
* Option S:
Relax in the natural hot springs of the Polynesian Spa whosehealing
properties have been relieving aches and pains for many years. Re-join our coach for a
guided tour of the beautilful Lake Rotorua foreshore, the historic Government
Gardens and Tudor Towers. Rotorua's original Victorian spa,
restored to its original glory. Visit Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and
join a guided tour through an authentic thermal village with geysers. mud pools and

* Option A:
Visit the world famous Agrodome and experience a wide range of farm
animals up close, see farm dogs at work and watch a shearing exhibition. Re-join our coach
