B2 Highlights
Day 1
Travel to the fabulous Bay of Islands as detailed
in our One Day tour B1and includes these great highlights:
- Hibiscus Coast
- Whangarei City
- Parry Kauri Park
- Paihia
- Warkworth Township
- Waitangi National Reserve. Visit the site where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed in 1840. Includes entry to Treaty House.
- Lunch.
- Russell. After lunch join a ferry for a short trip across the harbour to Historic Russell for a guided tour.
ACCOMMODATION - after this great day of sightseeing we transfer you to your selected
accommodation (approx 4pm).
Day 2
New for the 2006/2007 season is the full day "Cream Trip
Supercruise" from Fullers Bay of Islands. See all the highlights of the marvellous
Bay of Islands in one day on board their new state of the art cruising catamaran
"Tangaroa III". Recreating the original Cream Trip, take in the
awesome "Hole in the Rock" and go ashore to explore one of the most beautiful
islands. See the spectacular Black Rocks; the unusual volcanic formations found in only
two places in the world. Equipped with an underwater camera designed to give stunning
views of the marine life while meandering in and out of the many picturesque bays calling
in on the locals, delivering mail and supplies as Fullers have done for over 100 years.
The leisurely pace allows everyone to get up close to the wildlife, such as seals,
dolphins and even whales as well as boundless fish and birds. Departing at 10am
returning at 4:15pm you will be met by your driver for the return journey back to
Auckland.
